Having a solar on the roof is kind of a fun thing to do, but the cost and maintenance is costly compared to the rates we pay from the power co.

Not surprising, if the event, product, or whatever it is , is being subsidized by others in order for it to not fail, maybe the whole idea should be dumped. Renewables are great, but they have their limitations as we all know the sun does not shine all of the time and the wind does not blow everyday in all places. Like Solyndra showed, the whole thing was a scam to make a few people rich, AL Gore and his bunch are all fakes and frauds and just wanted to milk investors and everyone that came into contact with them. I am not going to even get started on the Obama group, as I have neither the time or the inclination to expose all of them as the frauds they are.
