While I see the reason to fire Roseanne, it sure leaves the rest of the cast and crew out of work for her actions.

Oh my God. A " comedian made a joke about a person looking like an ape. What is the world coming to ?. Lets fire her and put it on the headline news for two or three days. ABC knew what they were buying when they put Roseanne back in business so they can claim righteous indignation all they want it just backfired on them.
