    No word yet on pricing...

But if you have a hankering for a genuine, brand new, zero mileage 1968 Yenko Camaro complete with L72 427 porcupine engine, and built in 2018, then just leave a signed blank check on your dealer's desk and he'll fill in the numbers later...

JJ, what kind of trade in do you think you could get on your new Dodge?......Ben

It’s a Chevy, so will it have a stinkin’ Bose in it?

Simple solution...Leave the stinkin' radio off, and listen instead to the sweet music emanating from those stereo 427 tailpipes......Ben

Is the “porcupine engine” the one with the overhead valves?

It's the big-block Chevy originally produced in its 396 CID configuration, and is still being produced 50 years later in its larger displacements...It was known as the "porcupine" because its valve stems protruded at odd angles which also gave rise to the "semi hemi" moniker...These were names used by the magazine writers in the sixties, and may not even be used today......Ben

My silly older brother had one of these and went and traded it in on one of these.

Me, I always had pickup trucks.

My younger brother still has a '68 Camero SS convertible sitting in his garage. He restored it once back around 1980, but he used it for a daily driver and it needs it again. I just can't understand why he won't give it to me and empty out some space in his garage.

Ben, the heck with that "new" Camero in the original post. I want one of these:

I think it was about a dozen years ago I watched one of those in pristine shape go for around $30k at auction in Houston.

One sold for $1.3M in a Mecum Auction in 2013 —

While in college I worked for a Ford dealer and did most of the mussel cars. As a natural part of that I worked on and drove the hottest of the Mustangs. My memory of them was fine.

That was in the late 60's. Twenty years latter I had occasion to drive a fully restored 60's Mustang for a wedding. I had a chance to give it a little workout
I was both amazed and disappointed. The damn thing drove like a tractor, not to mention the lack of brakes. We have come a long way.
