As a complete aside —
When I was a kid growing up, I ran across a big pile of sawdust out behind our house. It was obvious that such a thing could not exist undisturbed. Therefore, why not put an M-80* in it and see what happens? Boom! You would be astounded at the boiling inferno it created. It looked axactly like a miniature fireball in movies of an atomic bomb going off. The boiling mass about 6-8 feet in diameter even rose rapidly and menacingly into the air maybe 20 feet. Oh joy! Gather the neighborhood kids around and do it again and again and again. A marvelous discovery.
That pile in the photos would easily last for an entire gross of the bombs.
Sorry for the diversion, but I never see a pile of sawdust without fond memories...back to milling machines, please.
*this was in the 50’s long before Class A fireworks were outlawed in Texas, and we kids lived to stock up on M-80’s, kkk bombs, cherry bombs, bulldog salutes & baby giants. The mischief we created with those things was incredible.

40 lbs a tire is nothing really, especially when it is cold out. Now in the 100 degree heat of a Texas summer I would have been a bit worried, but the trailer did not look all that heavy to begin with.
4500 pounds per tire same with the rims. That's why sooner or later most folks with mid to large truck campers put 19.5s on an SRW or switch to a DRW truck if they tow anything or if the camper is over 4000 pounds. I just happen to own both types of truck

3900# mill , the kicker is that he had to use a 36" hitch extension which acts a a big lever arm on the rear axle load. 40 pound overload may be ok on smooth flat roads but one big pothole impact at speed and you go way over the load limits of the tire. it may not flat then but it will weaken the tire cords and later you may have a blow out. And from personal experience, controlling a rear blow out at freeway speed with 4000 pounds of high center of gravity load will test your driving skills and pucker your butt big time

You are right about that, you may need some help to let the suction of the puckering loose, so that you can separate from the seat after coming to a stop. Might go so far as to need a drawer change as well.
