Russian Company Enters Appearance To Mueller’s Indictment Shocking Him

Wait, this was not supposed to happen. Remember all those absent Russians and Russian companies Mueller indicted? The indictments were planned to be merely a publicity stunt, not to have a court appearance on the other side by a defendant demanding to make the government produce their evidence! Mueller has responded with the novel argument that because the defendant had not been served, it cannot answer or make a court appearance. This, of course, is unprecedented and complete nonsense. A defendant charged with a crime can stand for the alleged crimes anytime, and it does not matter that the prosecutor did not expect or want it to happen.

By indicting a business entity, Mueller has invited just such an appearance. How else, but by an attorney is a business to go to court...something Mueller obviously did not contemplate. It was easy to allege all sorts of Russian crimes, but when demanded to put up or shut up, it looks like Mr. Mueller is not ready. This should be fun. The cogent Point is that once indicted the company and its principals are immune to testimony and discovery is a one way street aimed at the government. The defendant(s) do not have to produce anything voluntarily, while the government has to produce everything. Oops, Mr. Mueller...you screwed up in order to get a headline.

I hope this whole thing gets drawn out to the very end, to the very end of a quite a few politicians jobs would be best. I'm glad Trump has had the balls to hang through all the lies. I hope he runs the left into the ground face first. Shoot lets just get the truth out there that will run a lot of people into the ground.

Their game plan is exploding in their faces, could not happen to a nicer bunch of folks. I truly believe that they thought that all they had to do was raise a stink with all of the fake dossiers and fake charges and Trump would high tail it away from DC, he does not back down.

I suspect the Special Counsel has something on these mooks, but the DOJ has been dragging their heels until they are a bloody mess on anything and everything in which this Star Chamber proceeding has been involved. I have no sympathy with Rooskies, but very little with Mueller and his merry band of D’rat zealots either.

More on this — the judge summarily rejected the ludicrous attempt but Mueller to reject a voluntary appearance by a named defendant in response to an indictment. Took her about the time to read the Mueller response to reject it.

Discovery is a powerful tool and it's equally afforded to both parties. That's probably what the special prosecutor won't like about this

Except the prosecution cannot force a defendant to reveal doodly but fingerprints, a photo and DNA once charged, and none of that against a company instead of one of the 13 individuals, which is why the Rooskies picked one to force Mueller’s hand.
