Caddy’s Coming New Twin Turbo OHV 4.2 V8

...will produce 550hp & 627 ft/lbs of Torque, designed to run smooth with less weight and smaller than past engines.

Now, if Cadillac will only produce something without its ubiquitous Bose crap in the dash and in our ears.

They surely need to do something to freshen up their offering.

They need to go back to making land yachts, in my view. My 76 is 22 feet of steel and makes a statement.

Of course, that statement is that I'm supporting big oil big time, but still...

Kev-- have you looked at any improvements to your ride. Al heads or intake? Could go the cheap route and use the Ford intake with adapters and a decent fuel injection carb to increase mileage and performance.

They have a bad reputation any more, thugs and mutts love em & the image they have is not very well respected.....something needs to be done to build thiese up to what they once were....

The new ones are meh, over priced and not stupid comfortable.....

Heck, we ran a black CTS-V that should have blown us away & he did not....we beat hism 2 our of 3 and only lost cuz I tried using the paddle shifters instead of the 8 speed doing it's thing in race mode.....

I have a shopping list that is about 4 grand for parts. Headers are first, followed by a cam.

Let me know which you decide to do as I got a 500 Cad sitting around here. May just have to get it running again.
