    Illegal Alien With a Gun

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A man in the U.S. illegally faces federal and state charges related to a pair of gun scares.
    So, this guy is in the US illegally and has numerous firearms and is involved in an escalating threat with a firearm situation where shots were fired.

    In addition to the federal case of visa violation, He is charged in County court with two felony counts of criminal confinement, two felony counts of intimidation, one felony count of unlawful possession of a firearm and misdemeanor battery.

    All these happened on January 20th and only now have charges been filed against him and only now, three months later, has he been placed in immigration detention.

    I don't think the President even knew about it. Way below his pay grade.

    Mexicans are processed and sent back across the border within a few hours but Mexico won't allow the United States to send them citizens from other countries — and under U.S. law, they're entitled to a deportation hearing.

    Because the immigration service lacks prison beds to hold them, the vast majority of OTMs are released from custody and asked to voluntarily return for their court date — which the majority of them do not do.

    "They are given a piece of paper called a notice to appear, which administratively starts the ball rolling for a deportation hearing," said Cutler. "Not surprisingly, fewer than 15 percent show up."

    What about Denver....and the illegal alien Ivan Zamarripa-Castaneda who's a immigration fugitive released by Denver Sheriff......one of only a couple hard core democrat/political Sherrif's in Colorado & not elected by appointed like a police chief.....

    Maybe ICE is simply too incompetent to actually follow the law and they allow this guy to roam free.

    All they have to do is get a warrant.

    Nothing like bonding out a illegal alien who's also a murderer.....like he will show up in court again.....

    I will go back and reread the article to see if ICE produced a warrant or if Denver told them he was there.

    Most of these cases are just like the ones where there is much gnashing of teeth because someone got off on a technicality. The real facts are some police officer, investigator, prosecutor, or ICE did not do their job and follow the law, allowing someone to skate.

    Don't hold the rule of law or the Constitution at fault. Place it where it belongs, with incompetent officials.

    Denver does not tel ICE when they take a illegal alien into custody, they will tell them 5-10 min before or even after letting them go they have them in custody....

    Denver does not comply with hold orders, they will totally ignore them....

    Denver deels they are above federal law, the last time this was in the news, the illegal released went on to kill somebody.....

    Immigration and Customs Enforcement believe Zamarripa-Castaneda is in the country illegally. The agency placed a detainer hold on him while he was being held in the Denver jail.
    Per Denver's policy, since Zamarripa-Castaneda was able to bond out of jail, they would not hold him for ICE without a court order.
    So, ICE was notified he was there and simply refused to go to the trouble of getting a court order.
