    So I was a Doofus.....and Did a Doofus Thing....

Was checking out the car lot and test drove a Dodge Hellcat Challenger....now that puppy get's up and screams, way way more than the supercharged Audi, but the Audi is smoother, silent and not as fast

Crunched the numbers for a HellKitty.....no idea what one would do with a HellKitty...and thankfully they came back to high....

So like a Doofus I upgraded from a Scat Pack to a SRT...Dodge Charger, but it's like going from a bare bones race car to a luxury sedan race car...

This thing even has 3 position adjustable suspension

Only problem was Mrs Rampy was not there....she got a new car and did not even know about it

Best part is, we get a one day driving class in Chandler Az @ the Bondurant Racing School

March... best month of the year here. 78* and sunny today. Perfect weather..... BUT we tell people it's only effing HOT all year 'round.

I drove a buddies Hellcat. Enjoyed it MUCH more than my Dads 2017 Vette.

I don't know that exact model you bought but my son's Duty Cruiser is a Dodge Charger and he seems to be well pleased with its performance. I'm not sure what kind of engine it has but he says it runs really well so I imagine that one you got is a ball buster

I’m thinking of finally getting that nice Honda Element I’ve always admired now that they are all used prices.

Seems like they have about 8-10 different ones, the Police ones I've seen are all wheel drive some have a V6in them and some have a small V8. Rumor is dodge is putting the 392 (6.4l) in a all wheel drive police package...and the guys I've talked to all love the V8 all wheel drive. the old Red Scat Pack was governed at 175, the new SRT 392 is governed at 180. Same power plant.transmission and such, but different suspension and comfort level is way way better....

The SRT 392 is one level below the Hell Cat & ours came with every option possible except red seat belts and a block heater.......

When we get finished with it, it's going to look like tis, but in a Charger.....

That should be the 5.7L HEMI from what I understand. Ive been told Colorado Highway Patrol has a few 392's they use for high speed chases and such & are taken off the show room floor, put radios/lights in em and placed into service. Also been told other states also do this, some re paint them and others leave the factory paint on.....
