Because it was the law? If that was all it took to get rid of you, I applaud the man.

Surely you're not suggesting that Don is a scofflaw, or worse a fugitive who was exonerated by President Trump and exempted from the NICS database, are you James?...If so, that could be construed as to mean he is no better, perhaps even worse than those killers of innocent children whom he refers to as responsible, law-abiding citizens...

    Say it ain't so......Ben

Because this is the State of Taxes. No State income tax so they tax everything else. No biggie. Six of one and a half dozen of the other. Smart people are moving here in droves. Unfortunately they are coming from Cali. and up Nawth.

Neither would anyone else here...It was just an opportunity to demonstrate to Don how it might be on the receiving end of twisted words and convoluted ideas...Disregard......Ben

We need Lemonboy to explain again about the three-legged tax system and why simply having two legs on that system is like a two-legged stool.

Is that another of your "They need to respect us and feel the pinch when they wrong us. Sure it may hurt us for a bit" concepts?

Oh, Ouch!! Hurt yourself more so we will learn our lesson.

Texas is one ugly-assed place to make a living. Even our toads have horns, yet they are dying out. I guess it’s why we are so ornery. People should consider that before picking up and moving here.

Yep, that is a really sad thing.

As a child, I remember playing on our big red ant bed.

I would lie down next to their mound and play with them, letting them crawl over my hand while carrying the large crusts of bread I would hand them to carry down in their mound.

The horned toads would set back and grab a few as they marched by, never interrupting the line.
