    NRA's ties to Russia

Depth Of Russian Politician's Cultivation Of NRA Ties Revealed:

    https://www.npr.org/2018/03/01/59007...-ties-revealed

A prominent Kremlin-linked Russian politician has methodically cultivated ties with leaders of the National Rifle Association and documented efforts in real time over six years to leverage those connections and gain deeper access into American politics, NPR has learned.

Russian politician Alexander Torshin said his ties to the NRA provided him access to Donald Trump — and the opportunity to serve as a foreign election observer in the United States during the 2012 election.

Torshin is a prolific Twitter user, logging nearly 150,000 tweets, mostly in Russian, since his account was created in 2011. Previously obscured by language and sheer volume of tweets, Torshin has written numerous times about his connections with the NRA, of which he is a known paid lifetime member. NPR has translated a selection of those posts that document Torshin's relationship to the group.

As the enemies of America and the freedoms we hold dear are outed and the true extent of their intrusions into our institutions is detailed all must decide where their real loyalties lie.

The NRA has answered the question of NRA’s contributions from Russians.

The National Rifle Association has accepted contributions from about 23 Russians, or Americans living in Russia, since 2015, the gun rights group acknowledged to Congress.

The NRA said in a letter to Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., unveiled on Wednesday, that the sum it received from those people was just over $2,500 and most of that was "routine payments" for membership dues or magazine subscriptions.

About $525 of that figure was from "two individuals who made contributions to the NRA."

So, the NRA has accepted the staggering sum of $2500 from 23 persons either Russian or Americans in Russia, and has sold out the U.S. if you chose to believe leftists like Don.

Planned parenthood has killed more humans than the NRA and they have donated more money than the NRA. PP gets taxpayer dollars, the NRA does not.

If that 2500 dollars hurt the election in any way, the Dems had more problems than they thought. If that is all Wyden can come up with, may I suggest that he be removed as a ranking member from the Finance Committee, as it seems he too stupid to be in such an important job. Maybe we should look further into some of the other committees as it seems they have done nothing of importance to help the American people. We still have the NATIONAL ENQUIRER in the supermarkets for silly stories if they are needed.

We just need to get the radical liberals out of the MSM and the Dem party so that we can go back to having govt actually function at least half assed. The thing is millions of people knew, on both sides, that with a Clinton involved it was going to be a circus. The old guard in both parties needs to go away, the new candidates need to be completley new, that have had no political experience at all, and are only going to work to make things better. That means all of the Congress and any hopes and plans and alliances they have made over the years are kaput. No more back scratching from afar, no more I got you there so now you owe me deals, nothing, just a clean slate.
