President Trump thinks China leaders Xi's consolidation of power makes him President for life.

Our President says he thinks that is a good idea that we should try.

I can see a lot of advantages to the idea.

Dictatorships are very efficient never having to deal with dissent.

Under a dictatorship, we save billions on elections and campaigning.

No more need for Congress or representative government. Saves a lot having one person making all the decisions.

No more of these dreadful political discussions.

Military parades to honor the Dear Leader would help with the attitudes of the "citizens" They would show the power the Supreme Leader holds in his and only his hands.


I watched during the last Administration as the right wing longed for a leader as strong as Vladimir Putin. Now they are cheering as the current person in that office claims Putin is our friend and Xi's lifetime presidency would be good for America.

We have come so far in such a short time.

Eric, the main difference is that Trump has a job to go back to, he does not want to "rule the world" Obama on the other hand did not and he wants to be loved. One we know was joking the other we could see being the truth.

I guess you missed the sentence in Obama's book that said he would stand with the Muslims. How about his preacher for 20 years that was as anti American as they come.

One must either support the principles our nation was founded upon or not. It is time all Americans wake up and decide whether we will leave our children an America that is strong and free where all are guaranteed the rights and privileges our fathers and mothers left us or whether we will allow our children to be forced to live under the Third Triumvirate, the coalition of Oligarchs, Xi, Trump, and Putin.

If that was meant for me I'm a little surprised I'm not near that serious I thought this was all quite humorous. Surely you don't mean that you think Trump thinks he could be president forever come on everybody has to lighten up a little bit. I didn't even post here much during the Obama Administration. So you don't really know how I felt about it.

I hope he is President for the rest of his life and we get a new one in 2020.
