I finally see Tx's point of view better....

Well not really, but had the last cataract surgery (last Wed). It is helping the vision problem. Never knew white could be so bright again. Like looking at a Mr Clean commercial. Plus can now see the bottom of the eye charts. Dr says in another 3-4 weeks for the last eye to clear up and check for final results. Will probably need reading glasses. Should have done this years ago.

As for Tx's views, I'll leave that for later.

Very good, Fred...I'm in the process of correcting my vision also as Medicare allows...I'm still getting the needle stuck in my right eyeball once a month to reduce the sac of fluid they found inside...When that's all done, they move to the cataract removal...They laser-welded shut the leaking blood vessels a couple of years ago, but I think some new ones have sprung open...

My Mom said that after her cataract removal several years ago, the brightness of everything was so intense, it hurt...But now she can read without glasses...I would do well to find my way to the kitchen without my glasses......Ben

Same here. I'm getting really tired of asking someone what the signs say.

Had both cataracts removed in both eyes several years ago, the new lens they put in make it up to 20/40 for distance.

Well Fred I do hope your recent surgery helps your eyes. I think you inability to see the right viewpoint has more to do with the location of your head and not the eyes in the head.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes about 11-12 years ago. They replaced the lenses with Restor multifocal intraocular lenses. I can see everything well without glasses except the computer screen. I use glasses for that.
