    Carbine "Upper" for Semi-Auto Pistols

This is an interesting product for converting your pistol into a carbine. I'm not sure how practical it might be, but interesting, for sure.

I can imagine taking it to the outback as a pistol and carrying the carbine upper separately. That way having immediate firepower on your hip, as well as having more accuracy, if the carbine upper is needed.

I stocked and sold the Mech Tech conversions...They worked fine, but didn't have much of a market for me, so I dropped out of their stocking dealer program...As I recall, they were pretty heavy and bulky...The feel of them as a carbine was never quite right either...I'd rather just have my AR-15 nearby...Although I always did want a Marlin Camp 45 as a supplement to my sidearms......Ben

The Camp 9 and the Camp 45 are pretty neat.

I'm a skeptic. My experiences with similar muli-purpose devices has not been laudatory, they seem never to equal the specific devices they claim to replace.
