I knew it was all just a front

This keeps getting better, Putin is now poking some fun at the Liberal Dems and it makes two good points, no doubt Putin is not a good guy, but it shows how the rest of the world views our stupid politicians.
Vladimir Putin offered Wednesday to help settle the controversy over claims President Trump shared classified intel with his diplomats.
Railing against “dangerous” U.S. politicians whipping up “anti-Russian sentiment,” the Russian president dismissed the claim that Trump disclosed such information to Kremlin officials and offered to hand over records of an Oval Office meeting to Congress.

Speaking during a joint news conference with the Italian prime minister, Putin said those attacking Trump for allegedly being too cozy with Russian politicians were guilty of “political schizophrenia.”
Putin said – if the White House agreed – that he would share his records of a meeting Trump had last week with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and ambassador Sergei Kislyak in which it was reported Trump blurted out sensitive information given to the White House by Israeli intelligence.

Making light of the situation, Putin said he would have to reprimand Lavrov since the alleged intelligence was never passed along to him.

“He hasn’t shared those secrets with us,” Putin said.
The former KGB operative said he wasn’t yet ready to judge Trump’s nascent presidency and would only do so “when he’s allowed to work at full capacity,” ostensibly referencing the tidal wave of legislative resistance that’s greeted most of the items on Trump’s agenda.
This is the part that is most disturbing at how others may view the political circus the dems are running....
Turning to Russia's alleged meddling in the U.S. presidential election, Putin said he initially found the claim "funny" but said Moscow is now "concerned because it's hard to imagine what the people who produce such nonsense can come up with next."

Isn't it beyond unseemly when the guy with whom you are accused of conspiring comes to your defense, James?
But then again, maybe that is the ploy of rasPutin.

It could be, but in the same mode I do believe that Assange was getting emails from that Seth guy that was with the DNC. If that is proven to be true, then all of the "collusion" and Russia hacking goes out the door. They are putting their whole case on Russia having hacked those emails, if it turns out they were not hacked at all, but willingly sent by a member of the staff on the Dems, the whole case goes out the window. That is why the DC cops and the Dems are holding the case up, to have the truth come out will blow everything for them.

Putin is probably getting a belly laugh from the futile attempts of the liberal left to make him out to be a thug, he already is and wears that title with pride. You are not going to do any damage to a guy that relishes being a bad guy. AT the same time you make the leadership of the USA look like a bunch of whackos who should not be trusted with anything or even listened to any longer, Congress is using the same rope left out for Trump on themselves. They do not look like people who should be one of the worlds superpowers, they look like a bunch of keystone cops. The media is helping them look stupid as well.

You liberals have got to keep it straight, first you claim that Trump was being helped by them and now you are saying the Russians are effing with him. No wonder you guys are confused.

He is poking fun at the idiots we have running the country, every single one of them. This has gone on long enough, their job is to govern the USA, not play stupid, childish baby games....for gods sake these are supposed to be educated people. Again, this is the perfect example of why we need term limits for them all, no more having the power and contacts from 20 years in office. They need to be running scared, afraid that they will not get to see their second and final term. Citizens should demand results, not stupid childish games, since we are the ones footing the bills for these dumb@sses.

Ok,, I think I've reached the moment where I can no longer come up with other logical explanations. As I sit and listen to the accusations that Kushner was suggesting secret back channel communications with Moscow at the Russian embassy.. wtf

Boy, slow news day I guess. First we are helping then we didn't , then we wanted to help but we didn't and now it has come down to , wanted to start to talk to the Russians?? WTF? Where is the crime in talking to someone? Is that not what you do in politics, is TALK? and by all means usually too much.

Back channels.....isn't that how OBama said he was talking to the NKoreans? DO a little digging and find out who Teddy Kennedy was talking to "off the record". Lord the ignorance and stupidity of the liberals in America are going to be the downfall of society, just when you think they have dropped the bar for ignorance on the floor, they dig another hole.

I will be watching with anticipation for the next installment from Schumer and Pelosi in the Saga of "Gone are our Brains".

Wow, maybe the loony left msm should look back at what they have previously reported. It loos like the "Russian" connection is not new and is not a Trump thing. Why is it all of a sudden wrong to deal with Russia, when Obama was doing it all along?
President Barack Obama's administration has been working behind the scenes for months to forge a new working relationship with Russia, despite the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin has shown little interest in repairing relations with Washington or halting his aggression in neighboring Ukraine.

This month, Obama's National Security Council finished an extensive and comprehensive review of U.S policy toward Russia that included dozens of meetings and input from the State Department, Defense Department and several other agencies, according to three senior administration officials. At the end of the sometimes-contentious process, Obama made a decision to continue to look for ways to work with Russia on a host of bilateral and international issues while also offering Putin a way out of the stalemate over the crisis in Ukraine.
“I don’t think that anybody at this point is under the impression that a wholesale reset of our relationship is possible at this time, but we might as well test out what they are actually willing to do,” a senior administration official told me. “Our theory of this all along has been, let's see what’s there. Regardless of the likelihood of success.”
Leading the charge has been Secretary of State John Kerry. This fall, Kerry even proposed going to Moscow and meeting with Putin directly. The negotiations over Kerry’s trip got to the point of scheduling, but ultimately were scuttled because there was little prospect of demonstrable progress.

In a separate attempt at outreach, the White House turned to an old friend of Putin’s for help. The White House called on former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger to discuss having him call Putin directly, according to two officials. It’s unclear whether Kissinger actually made the call. The White House and Kissinger both refused to comment for this column.
Kerry has been the point man on dealing with Russia because his close relationship with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov represents the last remaining functional diplomatic channel between Washington and Moscow. They meet often, often without any staff members present, and talk on the phone regularly. Obama and Putin, on the other hand, are known to have an intense dislike for each other and very rarely speak.

In several conversations with Lavrov, Kerry has floated an offer to Russia that would pave the way for a partial release of some of the most onerous economic sanctions. Kerry’s conditions included Russia adhering to September's Minsk agreement and ceasing direct military support for the Ukrainian separatists. The issue of Crimea would be set aside for the time being, and some of the initial sanctions that were put in place after Crimea’s annexation would be kept in place.

“We are willing to isolate the issues of Donetsk and Luhansk from the issue of Crimea,” another senior administration official told me, naming two regions in Eastern Ukraine under separatist control. “If there was a settlement on Donetsk and Luhansk, there could be a removal of some sanctions while maintaining sanctions with regard to Crimea. That represents a way forward for Putin.”
