This looks very much like an ACR. The company has been in business since the late 1970s and has a great rep (made part of the Mars Rover) but only began making firearms a couple of years ago. I like it because it fits a standard AR-15 lower and has an interchangeable barrel design like the ACR. The 300 blackout is an up-and-coming round, and if I get one it will be in that caliber. The name comes from the idea that they combined the best features of the AR with the best of the AK. Seems pretty reliable, and the only complaint I've seen is that the upper weighs in at about 7.5lbs. I liked the ACR but when Bushmaster sold out the quality became questionable real fast. The core group from Bushmaster re-formed as Windham Weaponry but no indication they will release an ACR variant. With this I can get what looks and performs the same, and use my existing lower.
