My Savage .22 semi-auto rifle had a trigger problem. I will work on triggers up to a point---but this wasn't the kind of trigger I wanted anything to do with---far BELOW my level of expertise!

So--off to the gunsmith. Four months and $20 latter I got it back--but it wouldn't hit the side of a barn.

Examination quickly revealed the scope was only tight on the dovetail on the front mount and the rear ring wasn't even connected!

So--this afternoon it was time to remount the scope and sight it in---any excuse to shoot is a good excuse

Darn shame I can't use it to pick off the squirrels in the bird feeders---semi-auto rifles aren't legal to hunt with in PA!

I would never break the law

While this one with a 6X scope was in the shop I had been using an old bolt action with a peep sight---my old eyes do right well with a peep sight
