A good man, no doubt, and though all others pale in the shade of Sean Connery, he did an admirable James Bond...

Ben, Ben, Ben. Pierce was the ultimate Bond. He has Moores suave and debonaire style along with Connery's masculinity. The blond Bond is his own brute self, and its refreshing to see some kickass stength finally! i like his cold style

And for those yet unaware, Ian Fleming based the character on himself and his adventures in espionage with commando organizations he formed in WWII known as 30 Assault Unit and Target Force...Obviously experience was quite a teacher...

Another beautiful, talented and admirable lady of the sixties is seldom talked about today, but fondly remembered by a lot of GI's...I never got any closer to Chris Noel than a copy of Stars & Stripes where she was often pictured...She had a promising career in Hollywood, but turned her back on it after visiting a VA hospital where she met GI's and sailors who had left pieces of themselves in battle in Vietnam...

Her life changed from that day and she auditioned for a job with the Armed Forces Radio Network...She spent six years as a DJ in SEA and even took her show to forward combat areas where even Bob Hope was afraid to go...Returning to the US after the war she suffered from PTSD as did her husband, a former Green Beret who killed himself...Chris took a little bright spot wherever she went and shared it with every GI she met...

Today at the age of 71, she still owns and operates a shelter in Florida for any veteran who has no place to go...One of her latest public appearances was at the Rolling Thunder rally in Washington DC to bring awareness of the many GI's who remain listed as MIA or POW...
