Anybody up on cordless string trimmers?

I don't buy nothing that uses gasoline anymore on account of the gas is so crappy and eats the gaskets up in about one season's use, so I is figuring to buy a cordless weed trimmer. I have a Ryobi 18-volt cordless drill that runs forever on one charge-up, so I'm looking at the Ryobi 18-volt trimmer that uses the same battery. The user reviews on this trimmer are good, but, of course, y'all rats are more into what's good and what's chitty in such things.

You won't be happy. For what little gas a string trimmer uses just buy the pre-mixed gas off the shelf from the Home Cheepo or find you an ethanol free station nearby. Check with your local boat shop for ethanol free gas sources..............
Look on the bright side of things...........

We will not have to travel half way around
the world anymore to fight Socialism and Communism.

We can do it right here at home from our front porches
and in the streets of our own nation.

Fight for Liberty will not be a slogan of a noble idea
but a reality of daily life.

Socialism and total Government control are not knocking
at the door anymore, they have walked in, invited by
the huddled masses who are determined to "vote"
    themselves the things they want.

We run 2 stroke trimmers - mostly husqvarna without many gas-related problems. For what little gas you would use you could run coleman fuel (white gas) and 2 stroke oil and not worry about ethanol.
Line trimmers require more power than an electric motor and battery can supply; it won't run for long. One other thought; a 120 volt line trimmer and a long extension cord.
