She is a much better driver than a commentator....give her a chance.

I looked back and somethin' really nasty is gaining on me.
It seams as tho Ms Danicia is the NASCAR equivalent of Ms Palin and politics. She is either loved or hated. No in between.
I think both have found a way to make money and are doing what we all would do given half a chance. MAKE THE MONEY. Additionally, Both are making money for those who cover them 24/7 no matter what they say or do.
Personally, I will wait and see. If she can begin to finish in the top 50 % of the field, then I think, in time, she will prove to be an asset.
While there are many other women who are driving in NASCAR, it seams as if they do not garner the attention Ms Patrick does.[ possibly because they do not fill out a bikini quite as well or, they do but refuse to use that as a tool to advance themselves. Attempting to make it on their driving ability alone rather than physical attraction ]
Bottom line, she brings in MONEY and will continue to be used as a lure for the owners until she no longer attracts fans. At that time, she may continue to race, you just won’t hear about her every two minuets.
She looks good in Nomex and probably smells better than some of the other drivers......Ben

She won a 300 miler, the Twin Motegi in Japan. The first woman to win an indy car race.
I have no personal problem with Patrick. I have the same problem with Earnhardt. They talk about these two more than they do the drivers who actually have a chance to compete and win a race. Mark it down, if you watch the Daytona 500, you will hear Patrick's name a minimum of 100 times regardless of her performance.
She's also still a novelty, being a woman in what was a "man's sport"...Suppose you started competing in wet t-shirt contests, you might get talked about some too......Ben

the world anymore to fight Socialism and Communism.
We can do it right here at home from our front porches
and in the streets of our own nation.

Wow, that makes her a winner on the track.............nobody doubts she is not the normal NASCAR driver, but she has to win, or maybe she does not, just go out there and drive around and show off her body..........She looks good in next to nothing as well!!!
The thing about Jr, and I was a big fan of his father, is he won a lot of races until NASCAR switched to the COT. He has never been able to get a handle on the new car. Same thing with Jeff Gordon, he's been in a slump since the change. Others, like Jimmy Johnson and Kyle puke Busch got a handle on that new car and have won just about everything. This year there is a new larger car again, without the wing and back to the spoiler, and I suspect Jr and Gordon will be back...

To be honest my dad and i have had this Nascar conversation in the past. Nascar nowdays SUCKS! I haven't watched a race in probably 10 or more years. I remember as a kid there was actually "skill" in the pit crew AND the driver. You know the days when they pulled a car off the lot, made a few minor modifications and raced it?? Now all the cars are the same. What's fun about that? It's more fun going to the local circle track on a Saturday night and watching your neighbors try to beat each other with real cars!!
