Busy day today at the VA ...

Whereas me and dog 'Chance' were on our way to the C&D Burger Shoppe this mornin for the usual coffee & B/S session with the natives, and enroute my right eyeball went blind for about 20-minutes Anyhoo, I already had a scheduled appointment at the VA Eye Clinic, so the cutie lady Doc done a complete eyeball innards photo job and scheduled me for a carroted artery scan next week. The carrot artery feeds the blood to the brain (which may account for my posts here ) and to the eyeballs as well. Anyway, as usual, I was impressed with the great care from good doctors at the VA. Thank y'all taxpayers

That would have scared the crap out of me! Good luck/wishes? on the scan.
Rather it was all about the spin---and for many it was manna--no thought process necessary, no objectivity, no verification with facts readily available--just suck up the spin

The VA doctor referred to my sudden and short vision loss as an 'ocular migraine' , so I looked it up ...

I didn't have any headaches, and never do, so it ought to turn out not too serious. The upcoming carrotted artery scan should pinpoint the problem. They can use a 'roto-rooter' on cleaning out the artery, and sometimes put in a 'stent' thingie to keep it open in the bunged-up spots. Should be fun
