Hogwash. I attend church almost every week and I have yet to hear our pastor be judgmental or ask us to be. In fact, we may hate the sin but love the sinner. If a person takes the time to read and understand Scripture, you'd be hard pressed to find hatred either expressed or implied.
As a Christian I strive not to hate - even folks that have done hateful things. I can't be forgiven unless I forgive.

Do you forgive the 911 hijackers?

Didn't say it was you or your church. It's the fanatics that cause the problems. They have caused misery, death and destruction throughout history.

I know Mike. It's the statement that religion has caused all of history's problems that I disagree with.
As far as the 9/11 terrorists, I harbor no hatred for any individual - that doesn't mean that I agree with, like, or have any empathy for them - just the lack of hatred. It's probably hard to understand as it took me years to get to this point, but it's a healthy way to live one's life as harboring hatred is more damaging to the hater than it is to the hated. Most of God's laws are like that; a guide to living a full and functional life. Most of society's laws are based upon Judeo-Christian scripture, and the calendar, of course.

I believe I said a vast majority, not all.

Absolutely correct! I've told lots of folks they are hurting no one but themselves with their hate.
