    Lawn Riding Mower Saga

Whereas I done bought a new Toro 'Pony' lawn tractor a couple years ago and run'd it OK until last week when the cutting deck got a weird tilt to it and started cutting down into the dirt ... like nevermind the grass. Well, anyway, I looks up 'Toro' on Google and found two Toro service facilities - Home Depot and a big Toro sales and repair facility. I downloaded the parts manual with diagrams and part numbers of the parts I needed and showed them to the service dudes in both places... neither knew chit about Toro lawn tractors, and probably every other brand too. To make a long story long, I spent two days taking the thing apart ... and fixed it just darlin' with 'Shoe Goo' - there were all kinds of levers & chit that had nothing to keep them from popping out of the hole they were supposed to stay in. I put a big gob of Shoe Goo on the ends of each and now they can't get loose.
