0Bama is the occupier's man and the occupiers are 0Bama's peeps. 0Bama would sooner say that the City of Oakland acted stupidly and escalated what had been a peaceful protest into a rioting mob. That's who 0Bama would condemn.

Obam is about as bright as the occupier's, this is what community organizers do.

funny thing is most of the Rioters are white and from outsite the area [per my friends on the OPD Tac Squad]. They are "professional anarchists" the same jerks that protest and riot at the G12 summit etc. Mayor Jean Quan is totally ineffective and egged them on when she undercut the PD in shutting this crap down by siding with the protestors. Now that she is getting recalled over this crap she is demanding that the protests stop. OPD arrested close to 300 rioters last night. Even the Govenor is steering clear of this mess and letting Mayor Quon go down on her own in the mess of her own making. Too bad the people of Oakland have to suffer because of her

Not surprising that NOW it is a bad thing. It backfired on the Dems and Libs who are just looking for anybody that will take their side now. It goes to show that the overpower them with hollering just doesnt work, normal people do not respond to that type of behavior. I seem to remember that just a normal citizen getting up at a town hall meeting and asking a question about the HealthCare plan, was ridiculed and accused of getting out of hand and being pushed by a larger cause.

I guess now these Dem people would just love to have a decent thinking human being upset with them. One who would have their say and then go back home and go to work the next day.

I wonder how the idiots in the Occupy Oakland protests would react if the rest of us told them that for the greater public good we were going to take over their homes and fill them with unfortunate homeless street people. That for the greater good we were going to take over their businesses and their land.

    They would scream bloody murder

Yet they have taken just that same tactic.

I seem to remember the Bolshevics, Mao's revolutionaries, and Castro's folks doing the same thing. Turned out well for their citizens didn't it?

I ought to watch Doctor Zhivago again; it's been a while but the reformists in that movie are just like the bastards out in the streets demanding OPM.

Just when it was looking down for R'pubs with all the ugly in-fighting, the opposite side is marshaling forces to graphically remind the public what "the other side" is all about. Those forces D'rats have so prominently backed and foisted against our parks and normal life have announced a gathering in Chicago (what could be more appropriate than that) in remembrance of the mobs there in 1968 at the D'rat Convention to reenact their "days of rage."

The anti-American activists of the Occupy Wall Street movement announced they plan to violently disrupt the G8/NATO summit in Chicago on May 19.

Adbusters, the Noam Chomsky-friendly magazine that spearheaded the Occupy movement, claims the movement will conduct a massive occupation of Chicago “in the tradition of the Chicago 8.”

Of course the radicals of the Chicago 8 organized riots at the Democratic Party’s national convention in that city in 1968. Hundreds of police officers were injured.

Adbusters vows that this time the rioters won’t give an inch to the police. A massive occupation of Chicago involving “50,000 people from all over the world” will begin on May 1:
And this time around we’re not going to put up with the kind of police repression that happened during the Democratic National Convention protests in Chicago, 1968 … nor will we abide by any phony restrictions the City of Chicago may want to impose on our first amendment rights. We’ll go there with our heads held high and assemble for a month-long people’s summit … we’ll march and chant and sing and shout and exercise our right to tell our elected representatives what we want … the constitution will be our guide. [ellipses in original]
When the nations of the G8 and NATO begin meeting May 19, the movement plans to press its demands. Occupiers want an economy-killing “Robin Hood Tax” to be imposed on financial transactions, an international agreement to curb carbon emissions, and “a nuclear-free Middle East” (translation: the unilateral nuclear disarmament of Israel), according to Adbusters.

And woe to the powers that be if they don’t give in to the radicals’ demands.

A prime example of being thankful for your enemies.

This could be a classic entertainment and learning opportunity as riff-raff from the dregs of D'rat constituencies everywhere come together confronting Mr. Nice-guy, Mayor Rahm Emanuel's forces. I can hardly wait.

I looked back and somethin' really nasty is gaining on me.

Not too worried about the GOP in fighting for the nomination. If you remember, obama and Clinton were going at it well into May....picking a candidate now just gives o more time to campaign against whoever it is....
