I had no idea I had that kind of influence over you, counselor...Actually, after listening to the clip from Senor Segovia, I looked him up on Wikipedia, and was amazed at what he had accomplished in his long life,,,He was an extremely talented and influential artist...

    Now back to Johnny Horton......Ben

Excellent piece, Joe, I can feel the passion Mr. Tsujii put into his performance...Believe it or not, my stack of symphony CD's was another prized possession purloined by my unfaithful ex-wife...Oddly enough, she left my cassette tapes and reel-to-reel tapes, including the following Mozart selection which was always a favorite...Mozart's Concerto for piano and orchestra # 22, K482 Sviatoslav Richter on the piano and Riccardo Muti conducting the London Philharmonia Orchestra......Ben

I am a lover of classical music---there is a reason it is still with us

Changing it up a bit here is a young lady that left us far too soon.

Joe, until just now I missed your comments about Andre Segovia

I have been a devotee since my late teens and still have some of those vinyl records. Like you he moved me to try playing the guitar--it didn't work out

Thank you very much for posting that and the links

Out of respect for Ben's interests and priorities I'll offer this gentle interlude: : Hilary Hahn performing Mendelssohn Violin Concerto E Minor OP.64

I officially and publicly withdraw my recent comment about your being shallow----obviously you have your priorities in place

One of the things I've always liked best about Roy Clark is his ability to have a good time no matter what music is being played to what audience...He always appears to be having the best day of his life...Here he is with Buck Trent performing "Ghost Riders In The Sky"......Ben

Here's something I really found interesting. Below is an article on a new feature of Google, whic allows you to access everything Google has stored on your use and theoretically delete it. While combing through it deleting merrily along, I found a file with ALL THE YOUTUBE SONGS I HAVE EVER ACCESSED. Cowabonga Buffalo Bob!

Don't ask me what-the-hell I did but it was something along the lines of an offered request to make a zip file of all that information which was emailed to me and that I was able to open in my Documents folder. Then, I could listen to each file dating back to 2001 for me.

Give it a try and clue me in to what I missed —

Thanks, Dave, Lisita is wonderful and I was not familiar with her before.
