Why does the President have any business in this. Why does he feel the need to "endorse". While the politics are national, the decision is local, and most Presidents have stayed out of such things, but apparently he feels this is politically the right move. I say bad mistake. Politically speaking.

Just remember his roots and upbringing under the wing of the Rev. Wright and he just cant help himself. Just like the cop scandal that gave us the beer party in the garden and his jump to fire the lady from the USda. He thinks he is the "cure all" for all of the worlds problems when he is just the butt of all jokes. If he was "endorsing" a christian, you can bet the masses would be screaming at the top of their lungs, yet the sound of crickets is drowning this "incident" out.

On the same subject, the thing that burns me up, is this same Imam or whatever he is called, is taking a world tour and the taxpayers are picking up his tab for all of his expenses, in the name of promoting religion. Where is the leftys and the anti religion crowd now? Seems like a cross mounted on top of a hill in the desert was a major embarrassment for them, but paying for a muslim to fly around the world on the taxpayer dime, doesnt bother them?

Not so much as we have a problem with one specific religion, which a huge number of its adherents have set out to prove requires they force all others to bow to it or die. What many here fail to realize is that Islam is more than a religion and its religion is but the seed of the geopolitical movement for which it is the spearhead. If the Tribes of the Americas had early warning of the similar religious pestilence headed their way 600 years ago, perhaps they would have been less accepting and staved off their excruciating demise when they could have done so. We should take a warning from them and guard more assiduously against this most recent outbreak of an equal attack from an ancient enemy of Western culture now once again threatening universal mayhem and subjugation. We here tend to think of religion and politics as separate activities, hence the desire to hold them apart. Our enemies in Islam think the opposite, as witness the Imam Obama's administration embraces & sponsors in our name who has a long history of fund raising for Hezbollah and Fatah and is at the core of the UpYoursAmerica Mosque.

If what those adherents propose is not "in your face" enough, the President of the United States not only has announced 1st Amendment protections on their behalf, but has gone far beyond that and in a spirit of gleeful unity with them pronounced agreement in their full frontal assault on our sensitivities. I could accept grudging statements concerning upholding 1st A. rights, but I cannot accept joyful commitment to what those rights might let in the back door. You have to be a moron or worse to not recognize an enemy dedicated to your destruction when you see one up close and personal. This bozo has to go.

Nope not at all Fred. It you that will have the problem when these guys will not let you spout off and post troll threads about their religion. You think its funny to poke fun at something you do not like, lets just use anything Palin as an example. If you went and found things and posted them to defame their religion, they have no problem with putting you on a death list and issuing a proclamation that anytime anywhere it is literally okay to take you and your family out, for saying something against their beliefs.
