    Nice shot.

My caffeine now comes from Coca-Cola. I down the first one at 0500 hours and the last one at Midnight. I do miss Starbucks though. Before Wifey arises, I brew her a fresh pot of it. My favorite was Sumatra.

Hope not to personal but a question.... Why no coffee. I'd figure if a medical condition then all the other crap you are getting with cola would be a concern too.....

I have to admit to drinking a lot more cola (maybe 4 a week) than I ever did before I decided to stop drinking on a regular basis. My body craves the sugar (i kill most of the cravings with fruit)....

i cut caffeine out of my diet 25 years ago. my stomach started to not like it, so no coffee and no soda. took me about 3 months to get used to life without it. i don't miss it at all anymore. i do still enjoy the smell of fresh brewed coffee, but i do not drink it anymore, however i eat a lot of fruit (honey dew melon is my favorite when i can get or grow it).
jeez...i don't drink sodas or coffee...i guess i'm getting boring as i age. i do still enjoy a few coors most nights though
it's time to change the air in my head

I used to rag (in a kidding way) on my LDS friends during my Utah years. They would avoid coffee because of the caffeine (stimulate) but drink soda and eat chocolate daily.

    Why no coffee?

Dental issue. Nothing else stains my teeth, except coffee. No coffee = quick dental cleaning and I'm out the door.

Makes sense... I'd quit breathing to avoid the dentist. I have a phobia about people sticking things in my mouth like that......

Agreed. It makes me feel weak and powerless to be in a dental chair - mouth open, tools working on teeth. The film Marathon Man had Dustin Hoffman being dentally tortured. It represents where I'm at when in that chair.
