Obama stoops to a new low

While I disagreed with many of his policies, I always thought Obama was extremely smart and competent. However, today after reading that he was urging black "Bros" to vote for Kamala solely on the basis of race it seems to be contrary to everything he stood for. So sad that things have come to this.

Hmmm... need more info. Checking Drudge and usual Conservative hangouts didn't help. Link?

From what I gathered, Obama was advised by Harris's Campaign staff that Blacks aren't participating in elections to the same extent other races are. Hence, Obama stated to reporters he's going to try and get Blacks more involved (for Harris, of course). So, he's challenged Blacks to join him (again, for Harris).

I'm betting Obama was thinking, "I'm a Black Harris supporter, perhaps they'll listen to me on this issue." Did he target Blacks? Definitely. Was it improper to do so? Ehhh... perhaps it depends on which side one is on.

That's your read on it. But I don't see how you can make this about blacks in general when it was clearly centered on black males. I respect your opinion.I disagree with your assessment.

Would it be improper for a white cheerleader to encourage white voters to vote for a white candidate?...If the reason was to prevent a candidate from winning solely because that candidate was non-white, then yes it's improper...I'd rather see people vote for the person they think is best qualified to lead the country...That is why I'll write in Phillbo...Again......Ben

Hard to argue against a stance that includes Bo.

Philbo has not a chance. He's far too rational.

The Lebanese bloc is solidly behind him, although on occasion you'll find him behind them......Ben

Is this the Obama speech when he told Black men not to be afraid to vote for a woman?

    Yep, that's the one.

“We have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all quarters of our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was running. Now, I also want to say that that seems to be more pronounced with the brothers," orated the Democratic politician, per The Guardian.

“You're coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses. I've got a problem with that.”

Well you guys are taking it much better than a lot of the African American folks. I have seen a lot of resentment from their side relating to this matter.
