    New Pasta maker

so I got bored with only making Wide noodles fettuccini and spaghetti so I bought a pasta attachment for my stand mixer. It will make Fusilli, Spaghetti, Bucatini, Rigatoni, and large and small Macaroni.

to test it I made Spaghetti and Rigatoni. It works nicely. I like the integrated wire pasta cutter for length control.

Faster cooking time also. Cheaper and better than store bought.

May have to bring mine back out now that I'm home more.

As part of my Rehab I was required to cook a dinner meal, from scratch, for my Therapy Team. For the main dish, I decided serving homemade pasta would be awesome (despite the fact I'd never made it before}.

To make a long story short, the pasta was an unappetizing pile of limp noodles. A novice should not attempt such a task. Fortunately, I passed the test due to my organizational skills and effort. And, the other dishes were great.

Summary: Nice work, my friends. For, I know what it takes (and not) to do what you do.

I love pasta---but not the carbs

Having that capability in my kitchen would not be a good thing

    That said, I'm envious---enjoy Eric
