    E Vs = Pollution

I'm calling foul on that hit piece IV. The americanstinker is famous for spinning a story far beyond it's limits.

The game on this one is the claim of "EVs release 1,850x more particle pollution than gas-powered cars" is shocking----until you read the supporting spin. That is for particulate from tires and brakes---it has nothing to do with power. I suggest the amount of particulate emitted from these sources is, in relative terms, miniscule-----and miniscule x 1850 = miniscule

I am not sold on EV's at this point but this is simply a game---a dishonest game.

    Added in edit:

Many EVs utilize regenerative braking which requires no use of the brake pads. Plus they site the NY Post for supporting data---last I checked no one has claimed the Post to be a Scientific Journal.

That regenerative braking system freaks me out every time I drive one. I feel like getting out and adding some play to the wheel bearings as they must be too tight.

Same here. EVs have come far - but still have to make significant gains before I'd bite.

We're close, though. The next 5 to 10 years will entail significant power storage/efficiency gains. The current growing pains will pay off. Till they do, I have the time & patience to watch from the sidelines.
