Red face Excuse me Mr. Pig

Pigs, even domestic pigs, are not sweet cuddly things-----as this bear was to find out.

Not sure what he had for breakfast----but it sure wasn't ham

When I was young, my family stayed with our farmer Cousins in N Dakota. They educated me on how dangerous & destructive pigs can be. If hungry or pissed off, they can take down and kill many of the other animals around them. I think the damage we're seeing them do (e.g., Texas) illustrates my point.

I have a friend who was checking his deer feeder in the woods and interrupted a mama feral pig with her litter...Mama attacked immediately not giving him time to even draw his .45...He survived by gouging out one of the pig's eyes with his thumb, at which point Mama Porker decided to round up her kids and find another place for breakfast...I still remember the scars he carried after that......Ben

As a kid I put the domestic boars in the same class as the bulls. They have a bad attitude.
My father made a bad shot on an old boar which sent him into a rage. He blew through the 2" oak planks on the side of the sty as if they were not there. It was a community butchering day and it sent everyone on the run for cover.
