3rd world metal Artisans. Its probably stronger than when new
WOW! I'll go with absolute geniuses! I know it was videoed but there wasn't much wasted movement, they have been beating on steel for a while it seems, and doing it well I might add.
I'm convinced too...I watched some of their other videos......Ben
Just love the art work on the truck.
In this video it looks like they needed a double wall frame on an Isuzu, so they just made one...Those are some hellacious spring packs they installed also...I can't say that I agree with Fred about the paintwork, but their ingenuity is top notch...Doesn't look like they worry much about OSHA regulations in Pakistan either...:omfg:...Ben

The problem solving ingenuity of the inhabitants of third world countries always amazes me. It amazes me further that they can do things like this and still not figure out how to have clean water, sanitary sewage, and grow enough food for their people. Priorities need to be adjusted.
I'm sure their tire repair procedures meet or exceed Pakistan DOT standards, but somehow I'll have more confidence in my Chinese tires built by starving children in slave camps until I see the Pakistani method written up in Consumer Reports...:uhh:...Ben

Our OSHA and EPA would have a field day over this in America, but there was a time in my own memory when this was a commonly used method of rebuilding automotive batteries in the US...:geezer:...Ben

I'm just guessing here, but I'd bet their clothing doesn't last long at all, they have no fingerprints, and very short lifespans.
The one guy whose age was listed in a video was 63 years old, and working a 4 pound sledgehammer on hot rivets like there was no tomorrow (and for him there might not have been)...And judging from the open-toed sandals and lack of face shields, their retirement program may be limited to begging for alms without feet or eyes...:blind:...Ben
I'm speaking of the battery rebuilders.
I dunno...Maybe their corneas have evolved over the years to the point where they are now bulletproof...Note the lack of any eye protection when grinding, hammering, chiseling and drilling...:rpg:...Ben
