That's something I always worry about when pulling my 5th wheel. The damn thing is tall.
Maybe you should trade for something with a lower profile...:duck:...Ben

40K for a slide in camper ? Your right.
oops
I typically buy used in good condition. My F350 DDually listed for 78K I got it for 38K, used Camper list 38K purchased for 20K. In 9 years we have spent over 800 nights in the camper which is about $73 per night. that's motel 6 prices with way better comforts and mobility.
I thought this was a roll call thread?
On topic: years ago another dumbazz did the same thing in Phoenix - with a giant missle!:AHHH: pretty sure some of those boys are still doing push-ups :salute:
My old motorhome rig was 13’ tall. You had to be constantly aware of overpass heights as well as trees and power lines, especially in older environs.
Was doing a building review for a RV dealer when I was in Yakima. Dealer was building a new building with 12 ft doors. I swear the plans hadn't been approved for less that a couple of weeks when he came in and said, "Need to have 13 ft doors." Why I asked. "Well last week we were working on a unit and it hit our current 12 doors," he said with a laugh. Never figured we need anything higher." Approved the change.
top of my AC to the ground is 11'9" I round that up to a minimum clearance or 12' with my Kayaks on the roof rack it jumps to 13'6"
I had severe trouble finding a storage unit tall enough for mine too. 12’ doors were standard. I saw a new storage construction project going up and rushed over to tell the owner to make accommodations for the tall motorhomes as you mentioned. He did make some of his units with 14’ doors and 50’ lengths, which were filled promptly. He thanked me, but did not give me a break on rental fees.
Later, I built a proper wing on my barn with a dump station and 50 amp hookups.
Damn! That's a good lookin' barn Joe!
You should have called me, I would have kept your place up just to stay in that barn.
The cottage was my daughter’s.
Very nice
