Excellent Video Documentary On The P-38

I never heard that Charles Lindbergh was instrumental in tactics that made the P-38’s range so advantageous in the Pacific fight.

Be advised that there is a cracking good story after the primary video told by a P-38 pilot who survived being downed over Japanese territory, so stay tuned for that also.

Incidentally, I learned that the P-38 was the brainchild of the same guy, Kelly Johnson, who dreamed up the SR-71 also along with many other innovations in aircraft design.
