He was very talented. Did not agree with all of his rantings but loved to listen to him.
Not to long ago it looked like it was all over with the racial slur or what ever it was he said or did. RIP Imus
The guy was annoying as hell ... RIP.
What ever your thoughts about him personally, his ranch did good things for kids.
Stern is actually interesting to listen to sometimes these days. Oh he has typical liberal ideals when it comes to human sexuality, guns, and abortion, but it is interesting to hear him struggle with the aging process. Quite thought provoking.
I look forward to his eulogy of Imus. They disliked one another. If true to form, stern will have a reel of audio clips absolutely frying Imus and the facts will be there for all to see.
Stern is a creep: Imus wasn’t.
Said another way Imus was thought-provoking Stern is a smut Peddler
They both were/are very offensive to me, each in their own way.
I think Imus was the creep. At least we agree on most of the important things.....
His Ranch did good..
I never “understood “ his humor.. his downfall was making “trying too hard” to make a joke, he crossed a line.. (we lost a DC local “shock jock” the same way)
Stern went “big time” in DC as the morning man on the big rocker.. his schtick was different, still outrageous but different..
Sterns eulogizing IMUS will be interesting, Sterns new “schtick” is atonement for being so mean to others..
As an assiduous non-listener of Howard Stern, the piece below caught me up on why I avoid as much as possible the creepy guy-who-became-all-he-formerly-hated —
