FBI modifying reports?

One Congressman has made the assertion that the FBI may have modified witness reports in both the Hilliary email scandal and the Russia probe. He also pointed out that the FBI may have lied to the IG over what two of the FBI employees job description was. If either or both of these turn out to be true, our premier law enforcement agency is in shambles.

Freedom Caucus Chair Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C, also raised the possibility that the FBI misled the DOJ watchdog in an attempt to hide the identities of FBI employees who were caught sending anti-Trump messages.


The House Judiciary and Oversight committees were questioning Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz over his bombshell report into FBI and DOJ misconduct during the Hillary Clinton email probe.


"The other thing that I would ask you to look into, there is growing evidence that 302s were edited and changed,” Meadows told Horowitz. “Those 302s, it is suggested that they were changed to either prosecute or not prosecute individuals. And that is very troubling.”



So-called "302s" are reports on witness interviews compiled by federal investigators. Horowitz said later he has additional information suggesting that the witness reports were changed after-the-fact in both the Clinton and Russia probes -- a particularly alarming possibility given the IG report's findings of bias in those investigations.


Horowitz suggested that the IG is reviewing information concerning modified 302s, saying his office intended to "follow up" on the matter.


In a dramatic moment, Meadows then directly asked Horowitz whether two anonymous FBI employees identified as making anti-Trump statements in the IG's report were named Kevin Clinesmith and Sally Moyer.


Horowitz refused to confirm the employees' identities, which the FBI has declined to publicly reveal, citing the supposed sensitivity of their counterintelligence matters.


But Meadows suggested that justification may have been a sham.


“They don’t work in counterintelligence," Meadows said. "If that’s the reason the FBI is giving, they’re giving you false information, because they work for the [FBI] general counsel."

There is more there, there in the corruption of the FBI than there ever was with Trump and Russia. Sad day for our Country.

Did a quick google search to see if any of the "big" msm brought this story up and guess what....nothing. Even the NYT was not in the list I scrolled through, so we can tell what court they play ball in. This is a huge revelation, it would prove that our justice system is indeed corrupt and the main 3 network news stations skipped it as well as the NYT and HuffPo and WashPo. If it did even rate a mention it was buried so deep the search did not show it for the first 5 search pages.

Fake news only care about bash Trump. I'm not sure its working as well they wish.

Of course there modifying reports of course they're running like foxes being chased by the Hound what they have done is crooked as hell. My gosh even the far-left Trump bashing haters on this site must somewhere in the depth of their mind realize something really wrong went on here in the Department of Justice and in the FBI.

I will believe it when it is proven, but the refusal to cooperate with the guys who authorize paying their salaries makes it highly suspicious.

I most assuredly missed the text massages talking about changing reports. I thought I had been keeping up. What did I miss?

The Hillary email investigation reports were modified multiple times. I guess you'll just have to believe me for now. But if it is not true I'll be around to scorn later.

You may be correct, but that has not been proven yet. I think it has pretty much been established that within the FBI Comey’s original draft of the Hillary exoneration statement circulated for comments within the top brass and containing the descriptive word “gross negligence” applied to her actions was changed at the suggestion of Strzok to “extremely careless” to avoid the exact words of the criminal statute. Clearly, the FBI personnel are not above changing for their own self-dealing, but changing the wording of 302s on the Hillary interview is yet to be proved.
