Just curious, why is there a fishing season? Pressure on the resource?
I love the rivers this time of year.
Pressure on the resource. Is part of it. Low water condition s make it easy for poachers with dip nets. But mainly I think it is to keep stupid people from dying in the mountain winter environment when the storms hit.
If it were not illegal I would have to eat one or two of those a year. For watever reason it does not bother me near as much to eat a fish than it does to eat a mammal.Quote:
