Like I said in another thread, vote Dem and you are voting for open borders. Refuse to vote for Trump because you dislike him and stay at home, you vote for open borders. This is far from rocket science they are telling this from their own mouths. You better believe them.

Biden also criticized President Donald Trump elsewhere in his speech, saying Trump's "erratic policies and failures to uphold basic democratic principles have muddled our reputation and our place in the world, and I think, quite frankly, our ability to lead the world."
Dave the last person on earth that I need to give perspective is you. If Joe and I are rabid how would you describe your condition regarding your incessant rants here about Trump? Rabid?
Dave, if you read my cite, then you will know the quote was pointed out as contained in the context you printed. The article goes on to list things Biden failed to address in his foreign policy speech, such as his son’s miraculous foreign ties to China & Ukraine. I look forward to the old codger explaining just how his views of no respect for borders differs with our own.

The real contenders in the Democrat pack have a hard time stating their support for current immigration laws much less offering support for strengthening them to restrict immigration, while looking over their shoulder at the hyperventilating hard-Left of their party opposed to any restrictions. To position themselves away from the 79% would seem to be suicide, which is why I found Biden’s statement strange for someone trying to stake out a “moderate” position. It is as if they do not realize the guy now president won the position largely because of the issue not because people loved him. Biden will be like Hillary, I suspect, in that the more he speaks the worse it gets for him, thus a strategy of few interviews and none with outlets or interviewers asking hard questions. Splitting the baby communicating with hardcore Democrat primary voters and having to eat those words later in a general election is a delicate task, and has been proven a hundred times, being delicate is not Joe. biden’s Forte. The guy is a klutz.
The simple question of, “Do you want unbridled immigration or do you not” seems to be beyond the capacity of the Democrat Party to answer directly and succinctly, instead they answer by their inactions and choose to rail against the problems their own inactions cause as if it is someone else’s fault.
Within the context of what Biden was saying, I am not sure that he was talking about immigration---I guess we will find out. :shrug:
Under the trend the Dem party is taking at this time a candidate that is not in favor of open borders is unelectable. I think old uncle joe knew exactly what he was saying out of the side of his mouth while reserving his right to say he was misunderstood. He is a lifelong politician and liar who has been caught doing this forever. On the good side I hope they shred him to pieces because he is the only one I think can beat Trump.
