Only to people who disdain politics and live in a fog...and the proper word is “infamous”.
Another definition for “Politics” is “people banding together to get in and mess with your ****.”

That must be a trait that is common to that area, many up there seem to have that disease. I will present the current mayor and governor as further proof.Quote:

I'm sorry, I do not feel at all bad about that little prick Kim or his feelings. He has come out on many occasions and threatened to blow me and my fellow Americans off of the globe with nukes. If he gets offended by somebody saying he begged for a meeting that he canceled, screw him!! It is time to quit worrying about some of these clowns and their baby feelings, he is a grown man who has run his mouth, if he can not take the heat, better quit threatening American with his little nuke bombs.
Having spent time in both NY and Texas I find it equally common in both.Quote:

Dave, you should know better than most how little those blowhards really matter just because of the cabin you have and the people you deal with in the real world. Real people like your butcher, the guy that sells the fresh vegetables and especially that little ice cream place you showed us. That is America, not the city. I do not know why you would ever want to leave the cabin and it's community for the pompus blowhards that can't seem to miss getting in front of a TV camera and yakking.
Absence has a tendency to make the heart grow fonder and glass over the bad stuff, and with Bloomy that certainly fits his predilections of nannyisms. If we are still talking about arrogance in leaders, I would hasten to point out Bloomberg set the bar on telling people how they should live and then trying to force it, something for which neither Trump nor Rudy were noted. Of course, Bill de Blasio is a whole other level of arrogance and meddling in people’s business.
There haven’t been any Texans in that category since the Democrats were effectively rooted out of our system in the early 90’s. We Texans by and large like leaving people to their own devices, which is at it should be.
Call me a whore if you like but if ever I have a doubt about "why", it disappears once a month. :getdown:Quote:
