Mike doesn't care. They don't have to eat here if they don't want to.
Oh! Wait! We don't serve food here. Just a bunch of B.S. What was I thinking? :duhhh:
Watch out for any members with black back packs...................:hehe::bwaha:
Their Chicken and Dumplings are not as good as mine, but better than passable. At least they are not the regrettable puffy kind. Love the great fireplace in the winter. And, it’s a good place to find Goo Goo Clusters.

They even have the new ones with almonds instead of peanuts, Mike!
This new look for Lefties of being comically outraged about damned near everything is not a good look and will not wear well. Wait for the backlash. By next year this will be as fashionable as a mullet haircut.

I'm hopelessly lost in another century...I have no idea what a hashtag is, what one looks like, or how it matters to me...I just see the term used a lot in print...It's tough to be ignorant...:dunce:...BenQuote:
the stunningly racist #OscarsSoWhite hashtag
We tried to eat at a CB on a road trip once..... Once.
I've since convinced Nurse Paula that when we are doing a long run I can find a deli shop in any town and have a couple sandwiches made to eat while we drive. Short trips we find a local brew pub. I've never had much luck with chain restaurants.
There's not much on their menu that I like, and it was always overpriced...They're on one of my PM routes though, and always good for a few nuggets......Ben
I’m pretty sure the sage, John Wayne, said, “Life is tough, but it's tougher if you're stupid.”
It's widely attributed to The Duke, and sounds like something that would fit well coming from the mouth of any of his film characters...But I never thought of it as an original thought from him...I'll acquiesce the subject to my assistant investigator since I've seen the movie he cites...:read:...Ben
Note: I wrote that The Duke “said” it, not originated it.
I think it was in “The Sons Of Katie Elder.”
