It shouldn't surprise me that so many supporters of our President are suddenly defenders of Russia's and Putin's murders.

For the entirety of the last administration, I heard so many on the right wishing for a strong leader such as Vladimir Putin.

Today UK police said former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter were deliberately poisoned by a nerve agent over the weekend.

Seems like Britain is a hot spot for those types of things to happen. I would stay out of there if I had people hunting for me. I am sure the half brother of Lil Kim was just as surprised to find that the hooker he wanted to meet was going to kill him.

I think that is up to the UK where Putin's nerve agent attack occurred.

The one in 1978 in London when the Soviets (was Putin involved?) in which an assassin used a trick umbrella to inject a Russian defector with a pinhead sized pellet containing the deadly poison, ricin, had a lot more panache. The fellow attacked took three days to die similar to the polonium assassination.

I think Putin joined the KGB in 1975. That attack was a bit more Bondish than the current one involving nerve gas. They are getting clumsy.

I’m trying to recall, but I think Putin’s crew tried to poison a top leader of one of the bordering ‘Stans because he was a thorn in Russia’s side, and damned near succeeded. I can’t remember if the victim was the president or whatever or was running to be on top. Maybe it was Georgia...just can’t recall. This was 5 or 6 years ago, as I am trying to remember.

UK Prime Minister May said it was "highly likely" Russia was responsible for the Salisbury attack.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Monday slammed Russia over an alleged nerve agent attack in Britain — going further than the White House in directly calling out the Kremlin as “an irresponsible force of instability in the world.”

Tillerson said the United States will stand “in solidarity” with the United Kingdom and would coordinate its response to the attack. At least two people, former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia, have been left extremely sick due to the alleged nerve agent.

Looks like the UK is brave enough to stand up to Russia.

Maybe they should grow a pair for radical islamists too. Remember Putin has already teamed up with them in Syria.

Wow! Secretary of State Tillerson should have checked with the President before he agreed with PM May that the US would support our ally, the UK, in a response to Russia, the President's ally.

I guess we are no longer going to abide by the NATO treaty?

A call for radical sanctions against the Russians should go out in keeping with this radical and in-our-face attack. We need to be in their face as well. Kicking out 28 Russian embassy spies and personnel from GB is not near enough to get Putin’s attention. Same with jointly signed letters. We should also ramp up our sale of natural gas to Europe to both help them remove themselves from dependency on Russian gas and stick a knife in Putin economically. Remember, “Russia is a filling station masquerading as a nation.” — John McCain Hit them where it hurts most.

I agree just asking embassy personnel to leave solves nothing. Hit him in his pocketbook where it really hurts. The sale of petroleum and natural gas to eastern Europe, where he holds them hostage to whatever price he feels like charging for the stuff in his pipeline, is how he makes money, not all but a whole bunch. Cut that supply line off or down and he has to pay attention then, it may piss him off but the only way to control a mad dog is on a leash or put him down. Since we can't hardly put him down, take away his cash

All this political crap, giving him attention, is exactly what he wants. He has always been vain and relishes the spotlight. He feels uplifted and is on a high when people talk about the stumpy little freak, it feeds his ego. Quietly start strangling him in the way he does not like, take his money machine away, all of it. Everything he does that generates cash for Russia, put a stop to it. That is the way to slap his face, making him the center of attention, like the political elections over here only makes his head swell with pride because he is getting attention.

I do not know why people give him all of the attention, that is what he wants and the reason why he does things, so people will talk about him.
