More comfort food
The weather outside is frightful---dark and raining---it is a perfect night for comfort food:hyper:
So---as I type this the meatloaf mix is sitting on the counter getting to know one an other. Included are 1# ground beef (85/15), 1# bulk pork sausage, about 10oz of ground sirloin (which I did in my food processor), 3/4 of a large sweet onion, half a yellow bell pepper, 1/2 bulb of garlic, two small tomatoes, (all done in the food processor), bread cubes, fresh parsley, home dried dill, Italian seasoning, one egg, dry mustard, mustard seed, Worchester Sauce and a touch of cream.:stir: I sweated the milled veggies before introducing them to the rest of the crowd :smokin:
Once it is in the oven I will mix up a "top dressing" of ketchup and chipotle hot sauce (Tabasco) that I will apply about midway and then toward the end a cap of mozzarella cheese:getdown:
If I think of it I'll take a picture :maybe:

Seeing your quality ingredients listed, I'm betting it tastes better than it looks (meatloaf is not a pretty food).

A lot of food is down right revolting to look at, but it is still damn good eatin'. :yum:
