I enjoyed the occasional P-51 & Spitfire upstaging the F-22 also. Wherever that was seems a spiffy place to be. There was also a twin engine bomber of WWII vintage I could not identify taxiing at one point too.

It must not have been that bad, Joe...All of them have been repaired and flown out...No losses...:zoom:...BenQuote:

Flying a repaired fighter jet has to be a great act of faith in the ground crew.
I'd better not go into any details of what I know about repaired fighter jets...Some of the F-4 Phantom pilots I was associated with may read these forums...Let's just say that there is no such thing as a fighter jet which has not undergone some repairs prior to its second and all subsequent departures...And some of those repairs, in the interest of completing a mission, may have deviated to some degree from the maintenance manual...That is all...:lipseal:...Ben
