The US "belongs to everyone"...

Or so says Congresswoman Cortez of NY...I'll have to correct the Mouth of the House by saying America belongs to Americans, not "everyone"...

Those awaiting legal entry into the American stream of humanity are not a part of America yet...I also do not agree with the Mouth that Trump's tweets were "racist," rather that they were ill-advised as he knew what the backlash would be...I haven't seen any report to indicate that he mentioned any race at all; he turned his remarks to a political group who had banded together, and happened to be non-white...Non-white is not a race...

And yet I am more convinced than ever that he knows in advance what the reactions will be to all his remarks...He also knows that the steady barrage will throw his foes' focus off any one particular issue as they jump from one hot button to the next...:b-slap:...Ben

I think Trump's point was if you hate America so much which this group appears to do then leave. It's not complicated.

Two of “The Squad” are the same race as the President — Caucasian. Brown is not a race. Neither is ideology. His text, while misplaced because the four are all citizens, is directed at their insistence that the U.S. be changed from a culture which has proven spectacularly positive over hundreds of years to one infested by inferior cultures and ideologies. Yes, I said it, all cultures and ideologies are not of equal value, and discriminating between them is not invalid. He is not a racist; he is an “ethnicist,” who has distaste for substandard, disruptive & unproductive cultures and ideologies. He dislikes them all...very ecumenically.

My complaint is that he is injudicious in sharing his opinions, valid though they may be, thus giving ammunition to his enemies.

Two are Caucasian?

Trump knows how to play there games and enjoys it. Remember when he played games with Hillary and won?

He said they should go back to where they came from. To me, that means the congressional district that elected them. I think anything beyond that is taking it out of context.

To be an ethnic minority is not a race, which is why I termed Trump an “ethnicist” rather than a racist. He does not like Jihadis like Omar. I do not like them either, but not because of who they are, but what they believe. The others in The Squad each have their own reprehensible characteristics worthy of disrespect that has nothing to do with race.

All this time and I'm just learning I'm an ethnicist. :shrug: Maybe equating ethnicity to race is just laziness on my part, but I Agree with your assessment of them (the gals).
