Happy Saint Patrick's Day---the day everyone is Irish
We are having our annual Saint Patrick's Day dinner with 10 guests. One son will join us but our daughter is working today and our SIL left for LA yesterday.
I am making the traditional corned beef and cabbage with potatoes. I have 2 flat cut and two points for a total of about 14 lbs of corned beef, plus 7 lbs of cabbage. I like left overs :flip:
My Mennonite grocery store had all the fixins on sale. Cabbage was $.19/lb, flat cuts were $4.99 and points $3.79/lb. Last week I got 10 lbs of Yukon Golds for $6.00.
An observation of spring---which is clearly on the way  This morning the deer are again into the zoomies---seldom do I see that in the winter---they are far more focused on eating than to waste that much energy, but with the warming weather they are more flamboyant :flip: I get great enjoyment in watching their antics :smokin:
