Very interesting. I've never heard of them, but they are obviously a huge company.

Did you happen to notice what appeared to be a giant piston head being turned on an even larger than life lathe @4:18?
I saw that...For one of their industrial engines I'm guessing...Considering the cost of an in-service failure, I'd guess manufacturing standards and tolerances are closely watched...:wary:...BenQuote:

The piston shown in the video isn't "big" in their world. Some of their ships engines have doors on the crankcase---so you can go in and check the place out:AHHH:
They also have a threaded hole on the top of the piston, which in operation has a plug in it. The purpose of it is for maintenance. They take the plug out, install a lifting eye and pull the piston and rod out with a crane.
