116* ... I'm moving to Alaska..
It's not so much the highs but I can't even enjoy the mornings when it's 96* at 8am......I'm heading to Chrissy's in vallecito for a month...
It's pushing mid 90's here. But mornings are still in the 30's at the cabin.
I know the feeling...I got up this morning to walk my PM route at 0530 hours and the temp was already 82° with the humidity at 91%...But I knew it was only going to be worse later......Ben
It's called Summer luckily we've been getting afternoon thundershowers which have helped a little bit
Almost 2100 hours here and the temp is still 93° but at least the humidity dropped to 62%...:relax:...Ben
It hit 108* in the shade at the horse show where was working near Sacramento. The heat index put it at 115* It felt like you were walking around inside an oven. I was outside from 7am to 4pm. I drank 4 32 oz gatoraids and and 24 oz of water. Did I mention that I had to do that 3 days in a row?
I'm glad to hear I'm not crazy... I thought it was just Texas heat. But wow? I took my dog out at midnight and I was like, "Goodness gracious is this humid and hot."
"0530?" What are you talking about?" Okay, never mind... I finally figured it out... You got up at like five in the morning. Like wow... Bravo, Ben!
...That morning humidity is the worst... That's why I ride a scooter in Texas: If you stop, you fry.
PHOTOS: Taken about 110 degrees. Not at my best... In near diabetic collapse, and too much make up...
Notice the "busted beak?" ...That's from when I ran through a downed tree during a severe storm. Pitch black. Busted up the front of the bike, but I made it! (Thus the blue tape...) Nobody's fixed it yet...

You need a train horn on that thing. Only thing I see missing.
Finally getting to sleep in. Getting up now 5:30-6: or so, and the group that want to run their RC Cars wants to start at 4:30-5. Told them NO.
Yes, it is hot enough for me.

My private weather station, with the temperature / humidity sensor located in deep shade, is reporting 99 degrees, 54% humidity and a heat index of 120 degrees. It's really hot in the sun.
Is your station visible online? I see a number of weather underground stations around me. I always wondered how that works.
I put up a picture last year of the guy who hacked his station to report 451* fahrenheit while the forest fire was burning. Me and about 2 other nerds thought that was funny.
Sadly, the Weather Underground site went defunct this spring, and that was where I got my best local weather data. I had two sites within a couple hundred yards of my house.
If you can still access the app, I would like to know, so I can reinstall stall it.
No, but it does have WiFi connectivity and an app I can use on my mobile devices when home.
This is what I have.
I really like the rain fall features.
