They have been here for a long time.
Plenty here as well....
By latitude I'm probably about 250 to 300 miles north of you guys so maybe they'll get here soon.
They just started showing up at my place but i won't put any feeders out until it quits freezing in another couple of weeks. Them and the purple martins show up around the same time. I have a family of martins that comes back every year to make a mess of things around my house. I look forward to their return every year and always stop and wonder where they have been every time they return :cool:
Mine show-up the last two weeks of April---seemingly independent of the weather.
The migration is closely followed each year. The front runners are already into Canada.
So far this year I have only seen two. Got no idea where the construction zone and required detour is.
