Just for the record

PA only has one Senator---Pat Toomey just answered my email of last night regarding the impeachment.

Anyone thinking this is more than a fools mission is delusional. That said, I also want to hear more testimony--on both sides.

Sen Toomey has been mentioned as on the fence regarding that probable vote---and I sent him a note encouraging him to vote for that route. His response, this morning, remains noncommittal---which I expected but as I also expected he responded very quickly.

We do, in the interest of full disclosure, have a second senator---but he hasn't fogged a mirror in years :shrug:

They can't run him off, so guess they will just try harder and have fun.

Well we think alike on this one. I too emailed both of my Senators and asked them to please support our President and to end this ridiculous, partisan charade of an impeachment as quickly as possible. I heard back from my Rep Senator who agreed and committed to doing just that. Did not hear a peep from my Dem Senator.

I have John Cornyn and Ted Cruz for Senators. I am not concerned at all about their votes.

I wonder if it really matters. Is there some guy standing there with a clip board keeping score? My guess is if anything it might be used to corroborate more scientifically collected polling data. I never get polled about anything. Good thing I suppose :shrug:

It needs to be over since the result in both houses of Congress was certain before either of the deliberations began.
