X-37B Space Plane Carries Solar Energy Collection/Beam Experiment Into Orbit

This is fruition of prime sci-fi stuff if successful. Reportedly, the experiment is to test if solar energy can be collected in orbit, converted to microwave energy, then beamed down and collected to be used by devices such as drones or theoretically any number of things.

Personally, I’ve always wanted one of those Star Wars hover scooters that flash through the woods and hills but require a super-lite power source.
