While I was trying to play golf yesterday, I started getting the VOICEMAILS from (a computerized voice thingy) the "Department of Social Security Administration" advising me that my "social security number had been suspend because of suspicious activity". I got 4 voicemails in about an hour.:steaming: They added 2 more last evening.:steaming::steaming:
Being as I'm looking at my golden years in the low beams and out of an abundance of caution I decided to call the local office in Durango. Just to make sure the goobermint hadn't just accidentally decided to call my cell phone number and show so much concern for me. They close at noon.:rolleyes:
I fantasize about finding the a-holes that do this stuff and beating them to a pulp with a baseball bat. :beat:

I don't feel so bad, I got my call about my SS. I like my iPhone and Verizon, it marked as a possible spam, the machine left a message so I just blocked caller. Let's see how many numbers they have.
If you want robo calls... throw a resume out on the interwebs. I get dozens each day.
As was mentioned, a smart and capable answering system cuts out the dog calls for me. I only answer to callers I know - the rest get nothing. They are leeches we need to starve.
